Our Daniel Kieser joined a recent survey mission of the Greenland ice cap. The photograph of the polar bear tracks which we have adopted as a part of our logo, was taken by Daniel during the mission. Climate change and population development have put increasing pressure on overlapping habitats, as the bears are being squeezed into the areas of human development. Reflecting too well this trend, the bear in the photograph was hunted and killed by local Inuits the next day.
